For Goodness Bakes is located in a dedicated allergen free facility. We believe everyone deserves a treat, that is why our cupcakes, cookies, and cakes are peanut, treenut, sesame seed, egg, dairy, and WORRY FREE.

All of our products are made in our dedicated facility which is nut free/ peanut free/ egg-free/ dairy-free/ sesame-seed free/ shellfish free/ fish free and has no contact with any of the above. In addition, all of the products we use are nut free/ peanut free/ egg-free/ dairy-free/ sesame-seed free/ shellfish free/ fish free.

All of our products are also suitable for Vegan diets as they contain no animal by-products.

First of all, we ensure that our products are free from egg, dairy, peanut, tree-nut or seeds. We have also researched every product that enters the bakery, to ensure they are not made in environments that contain any of the allergens of concern. We have product information sheets on each ingredient in use.
In addition to this, we complete regular testing on raw products, equipment and finished products to ensure they are free from the allergens listed. Because we live with allergen sufferers, we are vigilant in ensuring that the ingredients we use, and the products we make, are free of allergens.

We bake everything in a dedicated allergen free facility using allergen-free products to ensure there is no risk of cross contamination with egg, dairy, peanut, tree-nut or seeds, fish or shellfish. Few bakeries have dedicated allergen free facilities, there is often  a risk of cross-contamination.

Often times, customers look at the pictures on our website and think we must have some products with egg and/or dairy. For Goodness Bakes, is a dedicated allergen free facility, which means that we have no egg, dairy, peanut, tree-nut or seeds of any sort on our premises.

When people think allergen-free, they think tasteless or bland. Our allergen-free baked goods taste just as good or better than conventional baked goods. The majority of people that eat our delicious baked goods  have no idea we’ve substituted eggs and dairy  for other ingredients to make them moist and delicious. At this time, we do not yet offer gluten-free baked goods or products.  However, we do plan to offer it in the very near future. We will be sure to announce it on our blog, once everything is set to go.

All of our products are made to order and we offer local delivery or convenient pickup at our facility in downtown Barrie.  We do offer very flexible hours and can set up an appointment for you. We will soon be distributing our products at stores in the area.

We will gladly take your order on our website, by email, phone and fax. We contact you within 24hrs to confirm details, pickup or delivery, and payment by cash or Visa.

We accept cash or Visa at this time. All telephone orders requesting delivery must be paid by Visa at the time of ordering.

Yes, we offer delivery within the City of Barrie for a nominal charge. We can also arrange delivery outside the surrounding area.

Because everything is made to order, we recommend the following lead time to place an order:
- Cakes we recommend a minimum of 24 hours.  However, if you need a cake on short notice, give us a call and we will always do our best to accommodate.
- Cupcake orders, a minimum of 4 hours is required.
- Cookies, a minimum of 4 hours is required.

Yes, we love making cakes that most wedding guests can eat. We make any type of cake or cupcake you require to make your day extra special and can customize to your specific requests.

Ideally, you can let us know 6-9 months in advance, depending on whether you are getting married during  the peak season during May-October.  If you reading this two weeks before your wedding we might still be able to help you out, order right now.

We do have both available and offer them for a rental charge, which also requires a refundable deposit.

Yes, we can arrange both. However, much of the consultation can take place via internet by you providing your colour scheme and any other themes you have. We can also provide you with take-home tastings samples.

Yes, we do offer this service and we recommend it. There is a fee and we will provide a quote , depending on the location of your venue. Because we offer specialty items, we can also accommodate requests to deliver wedding cakes out of town and will price accordingly.
